Went to try my hand at some more sunset pictures last evening. \u00a0A cool front was arriving, the beach was mostly deserted, cool breeze blowing, much different from earlier in the day when the air was still and humid.<\/p>\n
With shorts on it was a little cool, the water felt cool too. I mentioned earlier my shoulder has been bothering me some, sometimes at the most inopportune moments.<\/p>\n
So anyway with the slight breeze the waves were slightly larger than before, brilliant me ( NOT) decided to take the waterproof camera and get a pic of a wave rolling in………… bad Idea.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t ask me what happened because I\u2019m not sure. I\u2019m kinda squatted down in water about calf deep, concentrating on the camera and trying to get a shot, I can hear a larger wave coming in, about that time the sand under my feet gives away, now I\u2019m kinda squatting in quicksand trying to get my balance, stay dry and not totally fall in, somehow in my frantic twisting motion I caused a shooting pain in my arm, so now all I want to do is lay down and roll around in agony, the waves are knocking me over anyway. I managed to stumble out of the water with just the bottom of one of my pants legs wet, but it was not easy……. and nope, I didn\u2019t get the shot.<\/p>\n
Fortunately for me the beach was mostly deserted so Mary was the only one who got to watch my quicksand dance.<\/p>\n
