Well, we had to pass on this park, the visitors center and tour boats leave from Bayfield WI. It’s a very busy little town that really needs more parking. Between the remote tent camping on some of the islands, the boat tours and boats dropping off the campers, the car ferry that you can ride as a passenger and the boat tours coupled with shops parking at least near the water was along the streets.<\/p>\n
Again, like I said, it’s on a Lake with a bunch of islands, Lake Superior this time. So we arrive only to discover that all the boat tours were booked, a couple of days ago there were a few still open. Not only that but all the campgrounds were over flowing, we spent the night in the SUNNY HOT overflow part of a first come campground, it appeared as if we had the last spot in the overflow area.<\/p>\n
We could have but passed stopping at the visitors center because we couldn’t explore more of the park.<\/p>\n
