Once we got off the dirt, we mean county road, we realized we were only about 15 miles from Natural Bridge National Monument.<\/p>\n
Like EVERYTHING else around words or pictures just can\u2019t describe the beauty or size of things. Gorgeous is the only one of the many words I can come up with to describe this area. And that\u2019s not a word I would not normally use.<\/p>\n
So it\u2019s starting to get late, I was dragging my you know what so we didn\u2019t do any of the many hikes here, like down to the valley floor to get an up close and personal view of the arches.<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t know how long that hike is, to the bottom, but it\u2019s sure to be a most of the day hike………. I can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s something I plan to do when we come back to this area and we are going to come back I just don\u2019t know when. When we do it will be for a month or more, there is so much to do in this area, especially with the Jeep. So many tails and the area is full of old ruins or Petroglyphs. Like the ones we couldn\u2019t find yesterday, I found out how to find them, and I believe most are big, as in people size, we plan to look them up on our next trip to this area.<\/p>\n
With it getting late and still have one more thing to do, it was time to hit the road again. Did I mention that we\u2019re now about 60 miles from home.<\/p>\n
The arches are difficult to make out in pictures from above and not of the pictures have arches in them.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
