Today was a driving day, just a touch under 200 miles kinda north eastward on 1-20. Ain\u2019t nothing along this road. We did cross what once was the mighty Colorado River. By the time it gets here it\u2019s almost sucked dry, it looked more like Indian Creek on a bad day instead of a great river.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re sitting here at this almost wide spot on the expressway for 3 nights, they have rain in the forecast for the next couple of days, I just hope it\u2019s nothing like the Ohio River valley has been getting.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m just babbling here, we were going to take a southern route then I-65 north to Indiana, but the other day they showed the radar of Mississippi and Alabama with a bunch of red…… Change of plans……it\u2019s easy to do when your home has wheels:)<\/p>\n
2\/27\/2018 It looks like it doesn\u2019t matter the direction it\u2019s been wet or will be UGH………. Better rain than snow? I do like the snow, it\u2019s the cold and wind I can do without. At least here and for the near future the temps have been moderate, 65 last night, in Roswell NM and Big Spring TX it was down in the low 20\u2019s to hight teens at night. That\u2019s bit nippy for my retired taste.<\/p>\n
Oh, and one of the CG\u2019s on our tentative route is closed due to flooding along the Mississippi River.<\/p>\n
2\/28\/2018 Dang! A few days ago we were freezing with the high teens sometimes at night, today I wanted to turn on the A\/C. Not so much for the heat but the humidity! \u00a0Cloudy and raining the humidity was definitely up.<\/p>\n
