{"id":2437,"date":"2019-02-16T15:12:05","date_gmt":"2019-02-16T15:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rexisretired.com\/?p=2437"},"modified":"2019-02-16T15:12:05","modified_gmt":"2019-02-16T15:12:05","slug":"not-1-but-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rexisretired.com\/?p=2437","title":{"rendered":"Not 1 but 2:("},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2\/13\/2019<\/p>\n<p>So, we&#8217;re needing to set here in Benson for a few days while we wait on our mail.<\/p>\n<p>Well, we went for a drive with one of the goals to scope out where we&#8217;re going to stay when we leave here. We ended up running through about 3\/4 tank of gas round trip for our little expedition.<\/p>\n<p>While we were out we had the honor snd privilege of getting not 1 but 2 rock chips in the windshield. The first and biggest was on a small county road, we were doing about 45mph when this truck coming at us tossed up a rock and smack, instantly put a dime sized chip smack in the middle of the windshield. Later on the expressway on our way home, \u00a0heard something and it was hard to pick out from the bugs on the glass but sure enough the second chip, this one small but looks like it may spiderweb soon.<\/p>\n<p>2\/14\/2019<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately neither one is in a distracting area so we elected to do a self fix, the stuff was expensive, I thought, at $15 each and of course we needed 2, so $30 dollars poorer, we were ready to attempt the fix.<\/p>\n<p>While far from a professional job, looks like our fix did the trick.
