<\/p>\nWe pulled out of Singing Springs RV about 9:00 for the 90 mile drive and somewhere along the way crossed into Eastern Time Zone.<\/p>\n
We filled up in Glendale KY. \u00a0The main reason we stopped there is they have a truck wash. We ended up opting out of getting the rig washed, for the first time at a drive through truck wash, we did have it washed while parked near Quartzsite.<\/p>\n
Once we filled up, the parking lot was full of trucks, and a most confusing layout. We need to be careful where we pull into because with the Jeep in tow we can\u2019t back up. We would need to unhook the Jeep first. So after negotiating the lot, finding the entrance to the truck wash, unlike when I filled up, there was 4-5 trucks already in line so we decided to pass on getting the rig washed. Maybe after we leave here, which will be sometime before thunder.<\/p>\n

Tonight they have SNOW in the forecast. 1-3 inches, 2-4 according to who you listen to, maybe 2.5 for this area. If it’s going to snow I’m wishing for a foot or more!!!!………….. I’m missing the warmth of the desert, it’s going to be 79 degrees in Quartzsite today.<\/p>\n

Not one but 2 four letter words for today, SNOW and WORK, I\u2019m allergic to the WORK one by the way. \u00a0Anyway depending on who\u2019s doing the measuring \u00a04 to 8 inches of SNOW. I shoveled the stuff for Mary\u2019s Mom this afternoon.<\/p>\n
I guess that\u2019s what I get for coming back to the FROZE NORTH…….. it\u2019s currently 5:02 eastern time and my outside thermostats 36 – it\u2019s 83 degrees in Quartzsite……….. I\u2019d rather have the 83!<\/p>\n
This catches me up, and is probably last post until we start moving again.<\/p>\n
