152 miles due north and the high for the day is 91 hades hot degrees. UGH – UGH and double UGH!<\/p>\r\n

Fortunately pulling out of our overnight spot very early we were able to roll into our 30amp(grrrr) spot before the temps climbed to to unbearably hades\u00a0HOT<\/strong>. They were going to make us sit in the parking lot until 3:00 check in, I was just going to fire up the generator and chill out….. but at the last second they let us move onto our spot. Normally we try to arrive around 12:30 or later but I could feel the hades heat scorching my neck already. This resort\/ park is going to be full over the weekend\u2014 Mary snagged the very last spot. We decided to go ahead and stay a week. Since storms tonight and cooler weather the rest of the week.<\/p>\r\n

6\/10\/2020AM \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

The good news<\/strong> is I think my fever has finally gone away. For the past week to 10 days I have had a fever with chills and sweating. The fever kinda would come and go, once it reached 102, most of the times when I had a fever it was between 100 and 101. This is at least the 3rd day with no indications of a fever. BP was normal the entire time. \u00a0We Had decided to stay here for a week just in case I didn\u2019t get to feeling better and decided to go to an immediate care or the emergency room.<\/p>\r\n

It was rainy and windy today, went for a short walk and got back just as it started to rain, it was a good thing to because I\u2019m sure I would have melted away if it had started raining hard and I got wet:)\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

6\/11\/2020 Highway M22<\/p>\r\n

Today we drove up Leelanau Lighthouse, It\u2019s a little west and north of Travers City. The lighthouse museum was closed of course. Michigan is just now starting to allow things to open back up. We may not have toured the inside of the light house anyway. We\u2019re trying to avoid people and going inside buildings as much as we can. If a business looks semi busy we just pass going in. We also are trying really hard to get in the habit of using hand cleaner if we get out and touch something.<\/p>\r\n

After filling up just out side Travse City we migrated north along the western edge of the peninsula to the lighthouse located at the tip, then came down the western edge. A little breezy but otherwise mostly sunshine, we drove through rolling hills some covered in forest other hills were covered in tall grass, wavering in the breeze and of course the occasional cherry orchard. And along the way were quaint little towns. The route eventually took us through part of Sleeping Bear Dunes but we didn\u2019t explore much as that\u2019s another trip. All told we used about 1\/2 tank of gas.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

The last stop of the day was in the town of Beulah For a small cherry pie. DELICIOUS!!!!<\/p>\r\n
