We pulled out of the Jamestown ND Walmart parking lot this morning around 7:30 for just a little under 200 mile drive with Mary driving for a short spell.<\/p>\r\n

The fields along I-94 are massive, but it\u2019s interesting to see the gigantic fields of sunflowers with their yellow flowers, contrasting nicely with green hay fields and the golden glow of the wheat fields, that most have been harvested and the straw in large round bails, just like the hay. I know very little about wheat but the wheat fields around here, the wheat stocks, are only about 8-10 inches tall and just driving down the expressway, lots of times it\u2019s hard to tell if the wheat has been harvested or not. The picked fields are exactly the same color as the fields that needs picked.<\/p>\r\n\n\t\t
