9\/4\/2020<\/p>\r\n We pulled out of our rest area spot about 7:00 This morning and drove 371 miles but along the way we needed gas so we pulled into this little station, called themselves a truck stop, well they did have diesel and a large gravel parking area. Anyway someone was in the only convenient, for us, pump so I pulled around back for a few minutes, did a quick walk around and ( please insert bad words of your choice here) What? Again?<\/strong> ANOTHER FLAT TIRE, well at least it\u2019s not Sunday like the last one, this was the drivers side outside dully. Mary called a place up the road while I was taking off the tire, 10 minutes or less later we were on the road for the 15 mile round trip drive. They put in a new valve stem and in just a few minutes we were on our way back. A few minutes after that I was letting the jack down and we were ready to gas up and roll on down the road. I don\u2019t know why when we had the new tires put on they didn\u2019t replace the old valve stems, GRRRRR. Anyway all is well and we didn\u2019t loose that much time and since we\u2019re staying in a\u00a0Cabela\u2019s parking lot tonight, it insured that we didn\u2019t arrive toooo early.<\/p>\r\n A few pics from today\u2019s drive.<\/p>\r\n\n\t\t
Well they had the coach all day, dropped it off around 7:30 and picked it up at 5:00. Sure made for a long boooooring day.
Fingers crossed that the new cadilic converter and the tune up did the trick. 65? Miles and so far so good., I did take the longer flatter route south, the same one I took going to Kalispell 2 weeks ago. So the real test will be tomorrow when we climb back up to Missoula. I\u2019m not sure what\u2019s in store after that, new territory.
We stopped for the night at a scenic over look , just a couple of miles down the road from Ronan MT, which is where we stayed on our way to Kalispell.
What? Again?<\/strong> Another 3 day weekend and we have no reservations.
I hope it keeps cooling off good at night for the next 3 nights, we may be spending them in parking lots, it’s Labor Day weekend and because of not being sure they wouldn\u2019t run into a big problem with the coach we don\u2019t have any reservations anyplace so we may not be able to fine a park to stay in until Monday night, today\u2019s Thursday.<\/p>\r\n
