We did some miles today. After sitting still in the wind for a couple of days I was ready to hit the road. There was nothing wrong with the campground but it was to windy\/cool to enjoy being outside and there was not much to do in the area.
I didn\u2019t intend to drive that far but wanting to spend the night in a Walmart or other like place (cheap) I didn\u2019t want to stop to soon. Ordinarily we would have stopped at a rest area and kill some time, but there weren\u2019t no rest areas to stop at, so I just kept on a driving.
The drive took us through a big chunk of Iowa(due south), all the way across Missouri \u00a0and a little over 1\/2 the way across Illinois( due East).
We\u2019re also back in the land of woods and forest, there are large fields but they are broken up with woods and forest. The fields no longer stretch from horizon to horizon.<\/p>\r\n
The GPS almost caused us to be in a serious accident. We\u2019re driving on the expressway and it was in an area of construction, where they have moved roads but the GPS didn\u2019t know that. We\u2019re driving along when the GPS pipes up, out of the blue, and tells me that, this is what almost caused the accident because I was laughing so hard, the GPS says something to the effect that I driving on the wrong side of the road. It was so funny at the time, we both cracked up laughing.
