That\u2019s the states we were in today.<br \/><br \/>Shortly after arriving in Indiana in the first part of April we were able to get the J&amp;J vaccine shot. Now with last Mary\u2019s routine ultrasound this morning, that was the last item on the checklist we\u2019re finally able to hit the road.<br \/><br \/>So around 11:50 we pulled out from Mary\u2019s moms, jumped on I-65 and headed north for our much anticipated spring\/summer travel.<br \/><br \/>In Indianapolis we jumped on I-74 headed west, around 3:30 Indiana was in the rear view mirror.<br \/><br \/>Along the way I-74 does a few north then west turns, so tonight we\u2019re almost as far north as Chicago but we\u2019re in the eastern edge of Iowa.<br \/><br \/>After driving 429 Miles, we\u2019re spending the night in a casino parking lot, the same one we stayed in last year and had our first tire trouble. I sure hope we don\u2019t have a repeat of last year.<br \/><br \/>5\/6\/2021<br \/><br \/>Iowa ain\u2019t flat. Much of today\u2019s drive was on highway 20 much of that was up and down these rolling hills as we went from the east side to the west, then further north to South Dakota. Hwy 20 while 4 lanes, it\u2019s pretty desolate with no rest areas and few gas stations.<br \/><br \/>We\u2019ll be slowing down some now as we head further west, but today was another 431 miles to
